Beverly Dawn Coleman, 56, entered into rest on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. She was born in Beacon, NY on May 21, 1963, daughter of the late William & Frances (Stanton) Coleman.

Beverly was employed by St. Francis Hospital and Rehabilitation in Beacon; she worked for the hospital starting as a dishwasher and she worked her way up to Kitchen Director. Beverly was employed by them for over 20-years, until she left due to her health.

She was an extremely genuine, loving, caring, amazing woman. She has helped, and been there to anyone who ever came her way; She would leave a lasting impression on a stranger! She loved to cook; and she enjoyed helping others, no matter how hard it became. ‘Mom kept a smile on, stayed positive, and always did all she could to help her family and spared us the pain from watching her suffer.’

Beverly is survived by her 2 children: her son Justin Coleman and his wife Kristina; and her daughter Gloria McNair and her wife Justina. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jaxson, Mayla and Zyah. Beverly is survived by her sister, Debbie Coleman and her brother, Billy Coleman.

Beverly will always be remembered as a loving, caring & amazing daughter, sister, mother, and an outstanding grandmother.

Her Family & Friends will gather to Celebrate Her Life on Friday, August 9th, 2019 from 10–11 AM, at the Springfield Baptist Church, 8 Mattie Cooper Square, Beacon, NY, where a Celebration of Life Service will be held 11AM.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the LIBBY FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES of 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, NY 12508 845-831-0179. To offer a message of condolence or share a fond memory, please visit:

Bev when we first met you said I looked Nothing like Justina ; the next morning you had a whole conversation with me as I was her ! It was then you realized how much we were one ! You was in shock and in awe and in some shame of how you just had that conversation with me ! It was the best moment ever . Since that day I was always “other other aunty “ to you ! You will be missed and loved ; For God finally gave you your wings so soar those skies ! No one was ready for you to leave but god was calling you home , no more suffering now dance those heavenly days and nights away . Always watch over kids and grandkids for your memory will be ever lasting ! Kiss Saniyah for us and be her keeper ; for this was his plan! Your kids have lost your physical touch but have now gained an angel that will keep them safe and sound ! Continue to be their guardian as you was on this earth . Rock those heavens Bev . My condolences to those who have had your presence in their life’s for now they mourne . But I this I know you don’t want them to shed tears for grief but tears of love for everything you’ve done, shared and taught ! For in his name you’ve finally arrived home ! It’s not a goodbye but a welcome .
